Hi Bianca,

Returning the comment.

I went through your challenges since you have no portfolio at this time.

I really like this shot and it should have done much better.

My thought on the shot. The red bike is great, it adds alot to the shot. I believe the downfall is the angle. If you would have shot it at a lower angle as suggested in other comments, the lines would have led the viewers eye back to the bike much better or which you probably could not do, would have been to shoot farther back to have less bike and more lines leading to the bike. The green really complements the red and the other colors are good because they do not draw a viewers eye away from the subject bike.

Overall, you were robbed, but I haven't figured DPCers since being active.

Enter more and have fun. Best wishes,

Van

Very interesting idea. The surroundings are amazing. I am not sure if its the bike that makes it seem a bit off, but the photo feels like something is just not quite there. I think you could have made a very dramatic statement from a slightly different angle or closer or maybe shot more from one side then the other. I think your lighting and contrast are nice. I also like how the leaves have fallen on the ground. This really is a very different area for this shot.

I like the perspective and how the motorcycle is at the end.

Taken from a more interesting angle you could have really done something with this.

Interesting picture. Its not as powerful as it could be. The columns are great but they blend into each other. Maybe try at more of an angle to see the brickwork between the columns more. That might separate them so the stand out more. That would really move into the motorcycle better. Just an idea.

I see where you were going with this. I think it would have been better had you either gotten closer to the ground or closer to the pillars on the right. Still nice though.

The geometrics were a good subject, but the image needed to be sharper. I don't think I like the bike. If you needed a focal point to lead the lines somewhere, I almost think a person would have been better, or a dog or something other than a bike. A live subject would have given the image more soul. The bike really does nothing for the picture.

This photo looks very original yet it is a little plain! I love all the colors in the photo!
