Great, vibrant, sharp colours! the shaddows of the peddels are a bit harsh, but minor compared to the overall photo! i love the glossy effect that the sun cast on the flower! wonderful job!

Very nice use of natural light. Colors really jump out at you - excellent contrast as well. |

great colours & super sharp where it counts! I find the composition appealing, & think it would make great greeting card. Also I have seen lots of flower shot exactly like this printed on canvas and mounted and they look really effective... sell for quite a $$$! ;) |

as a thumbnail in your thread, this is the one that jumped out at me. looking at the actual image, the sharpness of detail in the flower is just awesome. there are a few petals at the bottom that obstruct the eye of the flower, but the colors are so rich and vibrant, and the composition is just terriffic! i like the bit of shadow in the upper petals, to help their detail pop out at the veiwer. nice job! |

oo..nicey. i like this a lot. I think I would like to see the sharpness of each individual seed to be more continuous instead of just at the bottom right. I really dont know how to acheive that (better angle), but its just a suggestion.
awesome photo. |

I love this photograph, I just wish you didn't have the stray petals at the front. (I know, short of picking them out, this cannot be avoided) They just seem a bit distracting to me. Lovely sharp shot, showing lots of details on both the center and the petals. Well Done. |

Add me to the list of loving flower shots. I find the tone inviting. Yellow being one of my favourite colours this really appeals to me. I also really like the crop. |

I admit it, I love flower shots too - and this is good, great color and placement in the frame. The OOF petals in the lower left are a little distracting but it's hard to get a nice macro without having those annoying little ones isn't it? |

Wow... Incredible focus and color tones. Good DOF. I also really like how you filled the frame with the flower. Very nice crop - it's offset enough from center to maintain lots of interest, yet is still all flower. Great lighting too. Very nice! |
