This was taken in the spring at the Lilac Festival here in Calgary. The couple made such an impact on my journey that day. I wanted to try my hand at some candid shots..but soon discovered I wasn't all that brave. So I got a picture of their backs.. as it turns out I still love the shot..and the lesson I learned about myself that day.
I have to work on the courage to take the pictures then talk to the people to find out their stories and share the images with them.
