Taken at 17mm handheld with a polarizer. Wish that I had more time so that I could have taken this shot with a tripod but I was in a hurry and practically jumped out of the car and snapped a couple of shots and jumped back in. Anyway, this is just one of those "found shots", I was just driving by and saw this scene and I just had to try and capture it as I saw it. Still, I am not 100% happy with this shot, I feel that there is something missing, it´s a bit blah as it is, don´t get me wrong, I still like it though. I wish there was someone standing on the bridge or something...
PP was shadow/higlight, colour balance to make the image slightly more red, the horizon was slightly tilted so I rotated it and cropped to correct that and finally curves, resize and sharpen. |

your title is good because it helps the viewer focus on subject in the upper third, otherwise i would not have thought this to fit the contest. very beautiful! the photo makes me want to visit there, thats always a good thing! 8 |

Great image. I'm wondering if it would get even more power by bringing the horizon down onto the thirds line too |

To me, this is a landscape. If I look at the 1/3 intersection points, the point of interest would be either a pole or the bridge. Neither one are strong enough to hold my interest. It is a lovely picture, though. |

The main fault I see with this image is that the foreground is much too dark and muted for my taste. Perhaps a slight shadow/highlight might have helped here or even a curve.
It also seems a bit soft in places and one can notice sharpening artifacts at the horizon.
There is also a quite distracting red color-cast to the image. |
