Don´t worry, I didn´t give you a lower score but I don´t get how this connects with the theme of the challenge at all, the title doesn´t help. I am guessing it´s "an american thing" :o)

The colors almost all seem to blend together....makes the eyes stick out a little, but overall it is still hard on the eye

The doll is funny, but I'm not really getting it. I don't understand what the white thingy is, and I'm feeling stupid for missing it.

Not sure I quite understand the intent? Whats the big white thing for? The eyes are well lit, but the overall red-orange hue is a little bit strange. The baby would make more impact agains a darker background - grey/blue/black.
