 Did lots and lots of editing on this one. Had a lot to work with, since the background was awful and the lighting was harsh sunlight.

Original photo - used diffuse glow
Curves layer
contrast layer
dupe layer, cut out all but her eyes
levels layer
gradient map layer - black and white @ 70%
used gradient tool in top corners to help eliminate background clutter

love the processing of this. leaving the color and color reflection in her eyes gives her a whole new dimension. first thought was that it made her look strong and wise beyond her years. very well done.

This looks scary bright, on my monitor. If you print this, people might need to shield their eyesfrom the glare.

Outside of that, it's a nice image and I like the selective desat eyes.
