This was fun. A good excuse to do just this bizarre, weird, way out there photo. I'm sure people will hate it, and it will get slammed in voting, but, I kind of like it in a strange, strange way. It's just...bizarre.
Set up a black sheet for a background, then put my big halogen shop lights on top of the entertainment center, very bright (and very hot!). Used the timer, and tried out lots of different settings to get what I was after. Overexposed the light to the point of being blown out, then in ps- did a screen layer and multiply layer with the opacity dropped, then some heavy levels adjustment layers.
thanks for checking out my pic, and feel free to let me know how much you hate it! :-P

not very sharp but the concept is nice.

The wrinkles on the background on the left hand side of photo make it less..."realistic" for me, but I like the concept and idea.

Great idea! I'm not sure about the wrinkly black bit on the left, but I like everything else.

I like the composition and idea, but the colors are a little flat. You might try changing the curves or boosting the contrast a little bit to make the shot a little bit more vivid.

Well done...fantastic use of the bright light. Very emotional image.
