 I actually gave my brother a bubble bath and took a bunch of REALLY good pictures ONE day before this challenge opened.

Knowing the rules full well, I set up again and attempted to capture the same happy innocence that yesterday's pictures had found. Those of you who are well acquanted with a three year old know that it's immpossible to put them in exactly the same position twice. =P How sorrowful... In the end, I gave up and let Michael do whatever he wanted while I snapped pictures randomly.

This particular shot was near the end of the bath, while he was winding down from the excitment of the bubbles. Michael scooped up handful and studied them thoughtfully for several moments.

I tried to crop it a little more on the left, but it just didn't work. Hope the open-ness of it doesn't bug anyone.

A sweet and endearing capture. The child's face has a nice little smile as he looks at the bubbles on his hand. He does seem to be pondering the question that all children seem to ask" Where do bubbles go?" It is that smile and a bathtub full of bubbles that help invoke the ideas of a playful childhood. This photo can invoke in the viewer, fond memories of their own childhood. The lighting is very good in this shot with all elements appearing to be cast in a natural light that compliments the overall photo.
