The colors are very stimulating. I do wish there was something (possibly more clouds or slightly darker sky) along the right side below the tree. And I also have the same problem that my eyes are drawn to the stem of the glass, which takes away from the whole of the picture.

Very nice contrasts in colors on this one. I love the way the cold beer (you know it's cold from the condensation) feels warm and fuzzy compared to the cool blues of the sea and sky.
The angle is very unique and helps to capture the reflection of the sun making it once again seem a warm and fuzzy feel. DOF may be just a touch off. The base of the glass seems a little soft on focus. Otherwise very nice DOF composition.
Oh one subtle flaw... The glass isn't centered on the coaster but very minor point

Ah beer.
Good:
I love the subject. I like the intense colors, that blue cant be duplicated in science. The lighting is dead on, perfect highlights on the beer glass.The location must be heaven.
Not so Good:

But why a beer in what looks like a tropical setting? How about a tropical drink?
Just my opinion, congrats on faidoi's P-O-D. Bet the beer was as good as the pic;) |

| I wish I were there. You made this pic look so inviting. I really like the angle you shot at. The beer looks refreshing, even though I don't like beer. Nice and foamy and you can see the sweat beading up on the side. Very nice. |

| You know, I don't even drink alcoholic beverages (for spiritual reasons). This photo makes me want that beer!(Is it Heineken?) This could be a great stock photo! Great use of color in this photo, and I think the bit of some kind of plant in the upper right is effective. |

The picture was taken on the same island as this and this, but around the other side, on the resort part.
From memory, I think the beer is a 'James Boags'. I should have had the bottle in the shot as well, but...20/20 hindsight.

Enjoy the composition. This would make a great picture for an ad. I like that you had a plant overhanging the left side of the picture. It gives off a tropical feel.
The blues from the ocean and the sky really brings out the glass.
I don't drink beer but it sure looks refreshing.
