I took this picture in one of the most beutiful town I have ever visited, Karlovy Vary on my last day in the Chech Republic.
The picture was taken with a rather wide aperture to get the signs to stand out.
The processing part of this image was something like this: Layers duplicated, one soft light and one Screen, flattened, leveled and added some contrast. Desaturated a bit and sharpened.
Then I added the border, which I know I am going to get a lot of comments about :)

fyndið að það skyldi vera íslendingur sem tók þessa mynd.

Interesting picture bt a bit busy. The lines in the background distract from the signs. Great interpretation.

I love the close crop of the signs, and the depth of field used here that keeps the focus on the signs. the tones are also great. Very nice work. 9

Love the angle of the signposts. Just a little too busy in the back, especially the black bars.

I think it was this picture I commented on and said it was overexposed. It's not. I saw it again on my monitor at work and realized mine here isn't calibrated correctly. Love the picture :)

I like the burnt edge effect - give the overall photo a "gritty" kind of feel for me.

Good photo and an interesting take on the destination challenge. However, the title throws me off a little and I'm not sure if this exactly meets the challenge stipulation that: "Give us a sense of where you dream of going, or where you're fated to go."

The sign gets lost in the background since they are all the same color.

I like the picture...the frame is a little overkill but all together...nice.
