Interesting picture. Very solitare. I like the shadow of the leaf, that is a great addition. Maybe bring the leaf in more so its not so small. |

It might be my monitor, but the water seems overly green although your title says blue yonder. I wonder how this would look if the leaf was off-centered? I like the leaf shadow in the water :) |

When I think of wild blue yonder I think of unlimited space. Your image fights against that by being confined in depth. I really don't get a sense of space here. I love the colors. The composition is okay - it's very top weighted which increases the perception (for me) of confinement. I think, if you turned this image upside down, it may free it up somewhat. 6 |
