LOL! Poor baby! Is it a Shit Tsu or a Llasa? Love the tourchered expression! There are some technical problems with this photo but the subject is adorable. 6 |

Nice facial expression on the dog. I would have liked this shot a whole lot more though if it were shot with a warmer WB. |

There is a smudge or something on the left of the shot. I find it distracting. I would like to see this shot cropped a little tighter. |

I like the shot. Fido's right eye gives a good clue of his displeasure. Blur on the upper left is a bit distracting. |

Ha, the pup certainly doesn't look pleased. I think this has some nice "aww.." factors to it. The lighting is a bit harsh on the bubbles which is distracting and gives an odd blue hue on the left side, but it looks to be natural lighting so other than a tight crop on the dog's head, I don't know how to combat that. The colors are a bit washed out where the dog is, the focus is his face and misery, so that area should be lit, though softly, and with a bit sharper focus than is shown here in my opinion. Working with pets can be a pain so I know getting him/her to stay in a useful position, particularly during something he's none to pleased about isn't the easiest. It looks like maybe a finger is on the left side also, its very unfocused and skin toned, a bit distracting - maybe its suds on the lens. I think the idea is great, the composition is good - probably stronger with a tighter crop, focus is alright, use of natural light needs some tweaking (crop may help here) and there is a good emotional impact and of course bubbles. I gave a 4. |

The idea is good but I feel the framing of the composition could have been strengthen if you waited for the dog to look directly at you. That why we see the wet dog being given a bath that he doesn't want as he looks at us imploringly (if you are lucky to capture an expression like that, it is not always easy) to "save him". By having the dog look at the viewer it brings us into the moment such that we feel that we are there looking back at the poor dog having a bath. |

Cute picture. It looks like you increased the blue--a little too much for me. |
