 Redid my "Self" photo after I realized how bad it was! I had calibrated my monitor too bright, and it had messed that photo up. :(

Nice photo...but I'd keep working on it if I were you. Your right,it is slightly overexposed and your losing detail in the center of your face. Try taking out the rings,......just to see what happens, draws the center of focus from your face. I like it.

I know my monitor is slightly dark (I like it that way but it does trip me up sometimes....like my self portrait) but this still seems a tad too bright. Maybe you could try a slight burn here and there and then some USM around the eyes. Nice smile!
