This is a photo of a moth resting on my father's barn. I adjusted contrast and saturation. I forgot to change my ISO, but the slightly out of focus look that resulted from this error ended up adding a pleasing visual effect.

Cool moth, too bad about the focus being soft. It's position and the colors gave this image a lot of potential but not enough to carry the lack of sharp focus.

With a bit more focus and clarity (I like crisp photos) I would have scored this higher. I like the overall colors.

Too bad that this photo is not sharp, and that the moth is cut off on the sides. For me, the center of interest would be where the wings join the body, but that does not demonstrate the rule of thirds.

Seems you may be going for some effect but the bluriness here does not agree with me especially for a still subject.
