I LOVE THIS PICTURE ! I can hear the child thinking "please don't pop, please don't pop" |

Hm. It meets the challenge, obviously. Great clarity and focus. Lighting looks good, but I'm not sure about the composition. I can't tell if it has an unnatural flatness emotionally because of the lack of color or not - I'm just not being drawn into this image. Maybe its because only the child's eyes are showing and they look almost angry the way the eyebrows are set, perhaps if the whole face was showing and you could see if he were smiling or not that might bring a lighter emotion into it for me. All in all I gave a 5. |

Now this is a cool shot. I like the black and white and I really like how he's looking through the bubble and right at the viewer. I hope you do very well with this one! (Giving out my first 10 of this challenge). |

Nice angle, well thought out. How did you get him to sit still for so long? Great idea. I like it. Not sure about the conversion to B&W though, I'd like to see the colour version. |

I love that intense stare on the child as he/she holds in his open hand these delicate soap bubbles! Focus is tight and details in the overall composition are sharp as a tack. The bubble is presented to us on a child's open hand and it is almost like he/she is offering it to us. The other way of looking at this scene is that we, the viewers, are invited to intensely gaze upon this bubble like the child is doing. And we do, we gaze intently on the child and the bubble as we are captivated at looking at this scene. Great job here! |
