Challenge: Rule of Thirds (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Location: My hallway
Date: Sep 20, 2005
Aperture: 1.8
ISO: 1600
Shutter: 1/160
Galleries: Animals, Black and White
Date Uploaded: Sep 20, 2005

I'm expecting a pretty low score for a lot of reasons like soft focus, grain, title, and not the true sense of rule of thirds. To me his face is on one of the thirds, as are his paws, but it doesn't really jump out at you.

But I'm okay with a low score. I didn't have anything else, and I just wanted to submit.

Hopefully it's at least over a 4, although somehow I doubt it.

I don't mind the grainy quality since the expression is priceless

Centered, and too blury for me.

For me, when I didvide this into a grid, the intersecting points for rule of third fall into areas where there isn't much interest. It is a cute photo. I like the paw over the eye - for me though, it just doesn't quite meet the task of the challenge.

This seems more centered to me than on the thirds lines.

Was the noise intentional? not too bad but was curious. He's adorable, nice detail

Needs to have alittle less noise. and the spec in the lower left hand corner is a distraction. cute ferret though.

Grainy, poor image quality.

This could have been a great shot, but the area that is in the tightest focus, the claws, don't add to the "story" of the photo.
Different cropping would have enhanced the rule of thirds effect.

Why black and white? And why so much grain? Intersections seem to have been missed here.

I wish it wasn't so grainy. Otherwise, it's a GREAT capture!!

I have to up the score just for the title and more for the pose. LOL Wish it weren't so blurred. You need to cropt out part of the left so that his eye is at the intersection of the perpendicular and horizontal third lines.

Too much noise and not focussed properly.
