Different concept of how you did this. Its interesting, and definately does meet the challenge. Your focus seems pretty good in that the keys of the piano are in relatively good focus.
The only thing I don't like about the image is the one hand with the movement, although that makes it interesting it also takes away in so much as the white area caused by the moment of the hand.
It was definately interesting and does get your attention, I can almost here the music now.

Motion blur is great, but the photo would improve greatly if it were contrasted with very focused, clear keys. Still, nice work. |

This is the piano shot that stands out most for me - I like the action and the lighting - I wish the left hand was a little more clear, however. Nice job here. 8 |

don't love the lighting, but the movement definitely adds to the 'noise'. good effort |

IMO, the best of the piano pictures entered to this challenge. I love the way the right hand looks transparent. |

I want to know what you (or your subject) is playing! (Maybe it'll be in the notes.)
I suppose I should not be surprised at the presence of several piano-related shots. I like the blur although the left hand maybe is a little too still by comparison. The angle is interesting, but something about the lighting seems off -- maybe a bit too bright on the moving fingers, or is that an artifact of the motion capture? |

I like the idea. But, the focus and the lighting don't go well here. I would have liked to see the piano keys in sharp focus and the lighting more even. |

This is a great image, one of the best of the keyboard images this week. Great dynamic shot from including the diagonal placement of the keyboard, and having one hand still while the other moves lets the viewer know that this was a very intentional motion-blur. A little blown out in spots, but somehow that adds to this image for me. I can almost hear the music. 10 |
