I really love this shot, it is wild and very musical, one can imagine a symphony in a large concert hall when looking at the water, the rocks being the conductor. The only thing that is slightly at odds is what appears to be a piece of wood on the left habd side |

Nice tones in the image. Well composed. Soothing yet powerful. A full orchestra. |

Great shot. I like how the rocks make a "diagonal" up through the picture. |

Nice long exposure - it's pretty much perfect. It's not the loudest or clearest sound, but it's definitely sound. Nice lighting here too. 9 |

I have a painting like this photograph. The water rushing by over the rocks is a very nice visual of this sound. The motion is captured very well, down to the stationary rock in the lower center. 8 if I was voting. |

I think I would have preferred this in colour; the foam is a little too-bright at the bottom left. (I'm resisting the urge to say "Hey! Duotones is so five minutes ago!" :P But I will admit I'm not a huge B&W outdoor scenery fan...) It does work in terms of the topic and I like that the rock is the center of focus. The motion of the water gives a blurry effect on the left I'm not liking as much but you'd lose a little 'sound' emphasis without it, I suppose. |

Very nice shot. The only reason I do not score higher is because the subject variation does not seem to hold my interest very long - 9 |

Mesmerising picture. Perfect exposure length. I can certainly hear the sound of the water. 10 |

This is absolutely beautiful and breath takingl!! Just looking at it, I feel I could hear the water flowing. I would really like to know how to get the satiny look to the water. I realize that it is probably done using a longer exposure, but how do you get it from being OVER exposed? Mine have all turned out washed out (no pun intended). I really like the lighting and the glittering rocks. I'm highly impressed. 10 |
