Shot in Cache Valley, UT. Crop duster spraying open water for mosquitos in preparation for the anticipated arrival of West Nile virus in Utah.

Technical:
Not exactly shot under ideal conditions, but out of 15-20 shots, I was pretty pleased with this one. Panned with the airplane during each pass. Taken from a nearby roadside at full optical (3x) and digital (2x) zoom for a total of 6x.

Cropped from the full frame, bumped up contrast and saturation slightly; finished with USM at 1.25/125/5.

I know what you meant to show, but the liquid is almost incidental to this shot (the plane happens to be cropdusting), and the overall shot's focus is so odd it makes me feel like my monitor's vibrating.

I would probabaly miss the liquid connection without your title, and I'm still not so sure that I get it.

The sky looks painted! What interesting colors and a great grab of the pesticides/fertilizers.

Very nice capture of the crop dusting plane and of the effluent it's emitting. I like the open feeling you get and the aerial perspective provided in the background. Also, I like the flatness of the foreground against the rising mountain in the background. Well done.

This is an interesting image. As far as meeting the challenge, it is implied that the liquid is there, but the liquid isn't visible, so I don't think it CLEARLY meets the challenge. However, I do like it.

This shot would be much better if it were focused - either on the plane or the background - to convey the motion.

Nice shot, too bad you didn't have the lens to help you out a bit. The plane blends in with the buildings, it might have been better if you could have caught it with just the trees in the background. 6

very blurry, next time try using a higher shutter speed. Otherwise try panning so that the plane is in full focus and the back blurs

Kinda blurry, even on the plane, which detracts from the shot in general.
