 Held shutter release in left hand, ice cube in the other. Lots of paper towels nearby. Took many attempts to get the timing right, along with a "pleasing" splash.

I'm sure there will be other similar submissions, but I've always wanted to try a stop-action shot like this. The beverage competition seemed like a good enough reason to try it.

I would have given this a 10, but I didn't like the wood table and background. This would have been an incredible shot at your local bar. :)

Nice shot. Your timing was perfect! Love the colors and the lines on the table are a great accent. Just curious, how many times did it take to get the splash this great? I'll have to look you up for that answer when voting is done.

Excellent splash and some very good detailed lighting/shadow in the glass base and stem. I think the background and choice of table top that was used doesn't work for this image.

nice job on the splash - i like the red -- don't like the table and wall -- somehow creating a background with a single color (white tablecloth maybe?) would really help IMO

Nice capture! Too bad the wrinkles on the backdrop are visible. I also would have preferred a solid blue table to match the wall.

The background is too plain for such a bright subject, otherwise this would be a 9 in my book. Nice capture on the flying liquid.

I love everything about this picture except for the table. In fact you could crop the table out and it would be perfect!

The wooden table takes away and is distracting. The effect would have been better had the background been solid. Great capture on the splash tho.
