This is in Fort Worth- catching the furthest outlying clouds of Hurricane Rita. They told us that we were going to get 5-7 inches of rain but this is all we got- a pretty sunset.

I know this isn't laying on the ground and shooting up but to me it draws your eyes up and so I thought it fit the challenge. I'm sure many people won't like that about it though.

I just played around with Sat, contrast, and hue, and I should have rotated it a little more.

Titlted horizon is distracting, nice colours though

Dramatic sky. Excellent color. But the horizon should be level.

Great colors!! Good placement of the sun. You'll probably lose a lot of points on the crooked horizon, and the border would look better if you used a hard line instead of an anti-aliased one. The clouds look a slight bit soft & noisy, but the foreground is in good focus. A longer exposure to smooth out the water surface would've been cool. The blue sky above the orange sunset helps give it a great feeling of "looking up". Nice job.
