It doesn't have to be complicated and lavish. All you need is love.

I like photos with negative space. I like photos that are simple. Your picture is both of those things. I think that it was a gutsy move for a Greeting Card challenge. You went out of the box and shot something no one would expect and it didn't go your way. This happens to the best of us.

Is this a cherry tomato? One single tiny cherry tomato does not say Thanksgiving to me. Thanksgiving is usually represented with an abundace of food, families at the dinner table, etc. I think that it where you went wrong as far as the theme goes. The shadow is a little harsh and the overall placement of the tomato is not appealing to the eye. Good Luck in future challenges

I don't think a blank canvas with a single berry on it would make a very good greeting card. The shadow is really harsh. Rotating the image 90 degrees CW would improve it. IMO

I like the yellow shining through to the shadow, but there is an awful lot of white. I'm sure that was the plan, but it's just not working for me.

Not enough in this picture. I would probably pass over it in the card shop.

Hmmmm. ...uh ...well, I...
I don't know what that is, and it doesn't relate to Thanksgiving to me, but I can imagine if I open the card it would say "HA HA - you thought that would be all the food we are having when you come over for Thanksgiving Dinner!" - in which case, it's pretty good. :) Sorry if I missed the point.
