 While out on the lake with family, my husband had come to help me off the jetski. I leaned back to unhook a board and when I looked up I saw the most awesome reflection in his sunglasses. My son hurried and got my camera and with a few adjustments to highlights, contrast, brightness, and levels this is the result.

For those who were confused by this image being submitted in the Ground Up challenge, Let me assure you that I was below him looking up. Two Reasons (that aren't my word) to support this:
I was laying back on the jetski which you can see in the bottom of his glasses - the red handlebar. The other is that if it was straight on (which I can see that being the assumption, based on the outcome of the shot) I would be smack dab in the middle of his sunglass lens.

anyhow..just wanted to address this because an overwhelming number of the comments I received was regarding how the image didn't fit the challenge. :)

I don't really see how this fits the "ground up" concept.

Doesn't work with theme, good shot though, crop tighter on right.

Interesting entry for the "Ground Up" challenge. Doesn't have quite the same impact as the others do, but the reflection in the sunglasses is cool.

I like this. Color and image. Composition would help is the crop was closer. Good luck.

Nice pic, but not sure it relates to the challenge. This photo appears to have been taking straight on, not from the ground.
