I like this a lot... and I immediately saw it as a wonderful shot. I also saw that there was room for improvement. I took 5 minutes and did a rough editing job on it.
Just felt that it needed a little bit more "oomph"

| Nicely done, more visual interest overall than the average bug pic, though somewhat less than a real in-your-face closeup would have. That's neither here nor there though :-) I like it. |

| Beautiful capture. Awesome colours, and the composition is perfect - the markings on the plant/leaf really draw attention to the fly. This has a distinct artistic feel that's very appealing. Nice job! |

| the verigated foliage is a nice change from the usual bug macros. i think it adds a lot of interest and gives the image some nice lines. good work! |
