 I had a choice of about 10 images for this but I chose this one because I like it best. Yes - I like farm animals! Know it won't score well but I don't care. This cow and I had a long conversation and he convinced me this was the way to go.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Funny how commenters liked it and no-one seemed to. Such is life. I still don't regret entering this. I still love the image and the smile it brings to my face everytime I look at it.

Oh, and yes, I skewed it on purpose. It was too static otherwise. And the black at the top is another horizontal bar. It looked funny - like a really odd crop, without it. I'm pretty sure I didn't crop this one at all. Oh, and Ms. Pretty says hello!

Bummer. Thought for sure you were a top ten with this one. It's funny though, I keep running into your images and saying to myself - "I like this"! Guess there's a reason I added you to my favorites a while back! ;^)

Nice, though that bit of black (rung of the gate, I'm guessing) is distracting. Still...very nice.

This is great! I love your take on the challenge theme. I don't know if you rotated on purpose to lose something in the image upper left, or if you did it intentionally to add a unique feel to the photo. Either way it works. B/W is the best choice here as the green in the background trees would have been distracting. Very nice. Good luck in the challenge.

I think you should have cropped right under the cow's nose. I don't think you'd have lost much of the feeling of looking up, and visually it would have more impact.
