I like the angle. My humble suggestion would be use of fill flash and smaller aperture.

Wow - great low angle. I like how the horse is keeping his eye on the viewer. Nicely done in my opinion. Good, strong vertical photo.

I wish he had better lighting. I can't appreciate his beautiful coat because it's too dark. Great perspective. Maybe work with curves and bright and contrast to up the color a bit.
