I love the idea, great picture! But wouldn't it have been even 'cooler' to spray paint the straw silver, or any other solid colour?

| Who says you can't be creative and still stick with the theme??? Great idea. The set-up is very good, I like the composition. The focus seems a bit soft. The lighting, I can't decide - it's sort of interesting, but I can't get past it being a bit dark. Overall, great shot. |

What a very bizarre but cool concept/image! what was your thought process that led you to this?
lighting, clarity, focus, composition.. all good. tells a story... and keeps me pondering and interested. |

| This was good for a definite laugh - somewhere in the midst of the appreciation. Besides being funny and original, this shot is really well-balanced - I like the way you've placed the objects, splitting it across, but not bound it to being the same height on both sides. It works really nicely - and the lighting is well-placed, too, setting focus on the joining and the liquid more than on the support case of straws, without obscuring them. Nice shot. |

| I think you've made the point too empatically with your lighting on the orange. I'm not crazy about the spot on the orange without much diffuse lighting to illuminate other parts of the photo. |

| Pluses: I like the concept, the background is clean and non-intrusive, the composition is pretty solid. Minuses: the lighting is a bit harsh/uneven for my taste, and the glass is SO sweaty it looks like it's been there a while. Might have been your intention but to me it says "this is shot #150 of this setup," which ruins the sort of "just happened upon this scene" feel. |

| Weird. If I were to nit-pick.. I like the lighting on the apple, but not the light on the straws below. I know it is hard to get the lighting just right, though. Maybe a little more light on the drink. If it is suppose to look like apple juice, it looks too dark. I not particularly fond of the boarder. |

| Clever. Amusing. Good photo, well set up. Nice title too. The lighting is nice but perhaps a little harsh on the apple, and corner of the straw. |

I presume that's cider, then.
I like the idea overall. I like the condensation being not only on the glass but on the straw, but I think I would have preferred it not be on the apple. Using the straw container as the stand for the apple is a nice touch. |
