Greetings from the Critique Club!!

At first glance, I sense a lonely feeling to this shot with the single figure looking out onto the night water. Maybe he's wishing he were on that boat. I like the composition and I think the overall image is quite nice with the two focal points. The black tree at the top of the image might be lessened by a quick crop. The shimmer of the water work to showcase the silhouette of the figure on the bench. This certainly meets the challenge and I say GOOD JOB. Keep up the good work. Judy

I like the light, the 2 points of interest as well as the natural border at top and bottom. Good shot.

I had my honeymoon around Lago Maggiore (assume there's only one and it's in North Italy). Loved the region. Appreciate the sentiment you're trying to evoke with this image. Is a bit too dark even for a silhouette at dusk shot altho' the composition's ok. Don't know if it's right to say more contrast might be better. Just doesn't seem sharp overall.
