 Taken at 17mm, handheld and no filters. The weather changes were very rapid so that made for some dramatic clouds, literally minutes before this it was raining and again a couple of minutes later. This was taken during a photo expedition that lasted the whole weekend and I went there with a couple of other DPC members so I wouldn´t be too surprised to see a number of shots from Landmannalaugar in this challenge.

Lots of PP on this one, had a couple of dust spots that I took out, shadows/highlights, curves on the sky and then again on the whole picture. There were footprints in the snow in the lower part of the picture that I took out and finally a little dodge/burn and sharpened after resizing.

Oh, those of you familar with the band "Led Zeppelin" probably get the reference of the title of this shot to one of their songs, "Immigrant Song" that they supposedly wrote about Iceland after a concert they held here in the 70´s.

There's nothing bad about this shot that I can put my finger on, but I also didn't find a compelling reason to keep looking at it. I'm not quite sure what it is..maybe lack of contrast? Maybe the foreground? There's a stronger picture here somewhere, especially with that brooding sky. I gave this a 5.

Led Zepplin would be so proud of your version of the Immigrant Song. Lovely capture for sure. I love the sky and clouds. The leading line just sends your eyes to the mountains.
