 This was a 3rd in a series of challenge submissions whereby I used a 50mm lens. The first 2 were with a f/1.8 while this one was with a f/1.4

My backyard view. A 23 acre wetland (aka swamp) with a small brush opening through which I spend hours watching wildlife.

Minimal processing. Cropped 500x350 w/ 175 res, Hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, and very minor USM.

i like how the silhouette of the tree truck and the ground seem to frame the picture. the color of the water is beautiful! i feel something lacking though...can't quite put my finger on it
