This is a sweet image. I like the composition a lot! The width of the image is nice as it really sets this couple in their environment. I would like to see a bit more foreground for balance. Perhaps shielding the lens from the sun would have prevented the flare in the upper right corner? |

The title is blue and brown, are those complementary colors? love the composition though, have always been fond of railroad walks. Dont know that it meets the challenge though. You do have blue and orange in the picture but it isnt the main focus. |

Complementary colours are pairs of colours that contrast strongly when compared to each other.
The colours in this photo are desaturated so much that the visual effect of complementary colours is almost lost. Your image demonstrates a duotone effect rather than the effect of complementary colours. Perhaps shooting from a different angle to include more of the orange leaves and/or tighter cropping to the figures would give more colour contrast?

This is a nice image, but the theme doesn't appear to revolve around the concept of complementary colors. |

Romantic. Colors are not essential in the situation. |

Nice landscape. Cute couple. Interesting interpretation. Don't see Brown & Blue as complementary as the title suggests but lots of nice orange and Love the blue sky. |

Does not meet the challenge, over exposed, huge sun flare ruins the photo. |
