This is a great shot. The colors are so vibrant, excellent time of day. I love the focus you used on the fence post to give the photo a subject, not just a basic landscape image. I love the contrast, as well it really help the plants on the right side of the post not get lost into the field. It almost looks like the plants on both sides of the fence are not the same field but very different areas. The depth of the right side really grabs my attention when I am able to sit and look at the shot. I saw the comment about the background being soft, but I don't know if I would like the image as much if it was too strong, it would take away from the real focus. This is just a great shot. I think it was just a hard category with so many landscape to grab viewer attention.

Love the perspective on this. Background looks a bit on the soft side.

I like the fenceposts and the perspective. There is just an awful lot to look at here. Maybe cropping out the top portion and focusing on the fence would help eliminate some confusion.

Nice textures, colors and light. Composition is good. Seems to lack some depth.

I'm a huge fan of fence shots. I love the weathered old post in the foreground on the left. The barbed wire's irregularity is a great textural issue and the leading line works perfectly. The golden tones of the grasses work well against the green of the hill and beautiful blue sky.
