This is safflower, used in cosmetics. It is a huge crop here in Cache Valley.

Initial Impression:Beautiful Panorama

Detailed analysis:This is a great panaroma shot. I love the rich golden colors of the safflower. Several comments were made on the choice of cropping, but personally I like it. I'm afraid it may have affected some of the voting because the image can be perceived as being "too small". You did a good job of adhering to the 640 max dimension rule and made the image as large as you could. I love the flowing curves of the hills and how the sky seems to also "go with the flow".

My only nitpick would be the blown highlights in the clouds (dead center), but it's a minor issue that I didn't even notice in my first pass.

I also can't help but wonder what this same image would look like "stretched" vertically.

Overall Impression: Great shot, good perspective. I love it!!!

Great shot one of my top two. Simple, yet elegant. The flow of the land accross the photo is great. Perfect exposure to boot. Good luck!

I like the panarama format and the scene though I think it would add more interest if there was a subject in the shot to focus on.

Excellent use of "wide" format, great colour and contrast. Makes one wish one was there... very good.

Good choice with the panorama, but it seems too small.

A beautiful scene.
I think there should be exceptions in the rules for panoramic format shots that allows them to be 800 pixel wide. I can imagine that this looks brilliant full screen.

The picture is beautiful but the crop is all wrong .
640 X 480 or 640 X 427 is the best size
