I would like to thank everyone who voted for my photo and especially all of you that took the time to make comments. It takes a lot of time to vote and comment on so many photos when you have 316 entrys. This is my second submission for a challenge and I never expected to come in at 11th place, so it was a wonderful surprise. Thank you all again and I will keep trying.

My artsy-fartsy daughter says she would have cropped it vertically and had equal space from the edge of the picture to the tips of the petals.

This is a beautiful shot. I would like to have seen a bit more of the center of the flower - to add a little more of that color. Amazing colors in moonlight.

I think this is very well done, I really like the vibrant colors of the flower and the waters stillness. very nice.

However, i also think that this photo could be improved by zooming out a bit, for the flowers reflection in the water could be comeplete. Other than that very nice.

Beautiful composition. The subject, focus, lighting and colors are pretty much spot on and attract and hold the eye's attention. The only critique I have is that the crop could have been more on the flower leaving less space to the left and right.

I wish more of the yellow was showing, and that the reflection was not cut off.

Beautiful representation of purple and yellow. I think the image would have more appeal if cropped to take the lotus out of the center.
