Not the best shot of this little girl I have taken but the blue and orange on her feathers make it fitting to enter this challenge. Lot of other adjustments I would've liked to make but am restricted with the basic editing rules. This was the best I could get it. Not sure if I like the composition either but was snapping away not thinking I could use them for this challenge....Just have to wait and see what happens, I was on the fence deciding if I would enter it !
Editing :
Minor adjustments to levels, colour balance and selective colour
Minor saturation adjustments
Reduce noise + very soft Gaussian blur layer to whole image. No cropping as is. No USM applied

The challenge title is "Complementary Colors" not "Colors of the Rainbow".

Unfortunately there are too many complementary pairs here to demonstrate the effect of one colour contrasted against its opposite. If the shot had shown more of the bird's orange eye and beak against the blue feathers of its head, and the photo been cropped to remove the green, yellow and red tones in the body, that would have been a better demonstration of complementary colour contrast.

Nevertheless, I love the colourful look in the bird's eye!

Doesn't the challenge say TWO colors? You didn't do the more than two successfully enough for me to let you get away with it. But otherwise, I think its a pretty decent photo.

Nice and clear. Not sure if you cropped this but would have been nice to leave more of the bird in the picture.

The comlimentary colours challenge is about

"use TWO complementary colors to compose your photograph"

This is more than 2 colours and whilst is is a fine photo, I cannot score it any higher than 3

Nice capture of a quick bird. the only distraction is the blue streak under his beak.
Very sharp focus and I love the colors
