 Didn't have much luck weather wise on the day I wanted to take an outdoor shot.
This was the pick of them which should be good enough to get me another mediocre score.

Different. And close enough to be complementary colours. Pity that so much of the beach is cropped in the top right before it curves away to the left.

I like this pic a lot; I love the natural colors! right upper part of the beach is a bit distracting

Sort of meets the challenge, maybe if you had concentrated more on the water and beach and cropped off the shoreline and sky the photo would be more interesting.
