I was living in a dream
I was living for the scene
I was floating high above
cause I have been through mire and confusion
I am free

as far as I can see
is Nashville skyline
underneath it all
you yourself are free
floating high above
the Nashville skyline

Seems a little sparse for a magazine cover, but it is a nice picture nonetheless.

where's the skyline? ;)

cropping a little awkward (wing on top left) but nice idea

I thought there were more buildings in Nashville... I love the shot

LOL.

nice use of space. If only the top right wing had been sharp. . .

I have a hard time believing your magazine exists.

That having been said, I would expect a magazine with that title to focus on buildings or at least contain them somewhere.

Even without that, the wing at the top left is just distracting. The bird at the top right still looks good even though it is cut off and the one at the bottom left is captured well, but that other wing, not so much.

A compositor might crop that out but it would leave no whole birds if done in portrait style.

I love this pic..... does it answer the challenge though.

Nice content, composition not strong for me. Good clean sky background though.

Personally I do not consider magazines to be in a horizontal shape... thats just me though. Interesting.. I guess it's definitely the sky with some birds in it. I would have upped my shutter speed a bit so that the right hand bird wouldn't have had a blurry wing. Also the random wing coming in at the top left is bothersome.

This is a pretty photo, but I can't see it as a magazine cover. Maybe if you had cropped it differently, but as it is, it doesn't work for me. I do like the interesting perspective of the birds and the blueness of the sky.

This is a very nice shot of the birds. Too bad we are seeing their behinds intead of their heads.

Wow - cool shot! I'd like the birds to be flying towards the camera rather than away, but it's still a great capture!
