| Great shot and a good example of a successful abstract image, however I don't really like the shadows cast by the object. If you were to ever reshoot this, I would personally move the object further away from the background to eliminate the shadow all-together. I also realize that the shadow was most likely intended so just take my comment for what it's worth. Great capture, you seem to really like photographing this object. :) |

congrats on the high finish, especially with so many entries!
the curves and gloss in this abstract are very appealing to me. nice choice of green for the background as well...it doesn't feel like a holiday color combo, just nice complimentary colors. congrats again! |

| If only I could remember who I've seen this shot from before. Too lazy to look it up and doesn't really matter for the pic. I think I like this colored version better than the other I saw before. The green background really makes the red pop. There are a couple hightlights on the red that might be better removed but it might just make it look flat if it was. Worth a look at at least. Does that last sentence make sense? The shadow on the left/bottom adds depth but it also a little distracting. Mainly in the top curve. Excellent composition, great colors, and one of the better abstracts I've seen. I'm very picky on abstracts. This almost seems more graphic than abstract to me though. Hope this isn't too long winded and helps at least a little. |

| Simple. Sharp focus. What exactly is it? The image has a very sensual feeling to it. This is a unique image which peaks my curiousity. In the top 10 in my estimate. An instant favorite. |
