 When I woke up everything seemed strangely bright, as if the whole world outside were glowing. I looked through the blinds - could it be? Snow? In Austin? Sure enough! Knowing it would soon be gone I grabbed my camera, threw on my sandals, and ran outside to the park. My feet were freezing, but at least I got some photos.

Did a bit of sharpening and cloned out a small something that was floating in the pond.

Heh, I was feeling the same thing. Just ran across this. What a great Valentine surprise. It looked like a Christmas card, didn't it???
