830 am, heavy fog on way to work... nothing special in processing, bit of unsharp mask and saturation bump. Cloned out a bit of a light refraction near small tree in foreground. and another black fleck floating on the left side. (my lens fogged up badly when I got out of my car and I had to shoot quickly after I rubbed it off with my shirt)

my favourite part of this is the small tree in the foreground..don't know if a small amt of dodging would just kill the natural look you have or help the little tree out a little..
don't you love when you actually stop and look at the world?
nice work..

Lovely sense of optimism and rebirth. I lvoe the subject - and nature of course. My only criticism is that I think you could have lost some sky in favour of some more detail in the foreground - a plant very close perhaps, or even some gossamer to catch some blurred refraction? I don't know, but this is still lovely if a little central in composition.

Neat mist, fog and coloration. Like the mood. Peaceful.

Neither the image nor the title really say anything celebratory which is a shame because this is a fine image I would like for my own

I like your idea for celebration. For me, I wish the horizon was either a bit higher or lower and not right in the middle of the photo. I like the rising fog and early morning colors.

I think if there was a main subject it would be an interesting photo.

I guess you are pushing the envelope here, for my interpretation of celebration anyway. I can see what you are trying to say and appreciate you are trying to differentiate your interpretation from the majority.

Unfortunately the image you have decided to use is fairly lacking in a main focal point, which means the viewer can safely skip over this without having to really look at it. My guess is its probably running at 5 to 5.5, and thats probably fair.

this is a wonderful mist shot; cropping the foreground might have given the shot more impact, but overall well done!

the lone twig seems a bit out of place IMHO. the fog and the natural fade is great!

nice soft nature shot. beautiful pinks and peaches, like the mist, and how you can still see the green in the foreground. almost would like to see a bit more contrast between landscape layers...almost.

crop out half the sky & the image would have more impact ..
