It's such a nice thought - and would be a good composition, except I wish it weren't cropped so tightly, especially the ring, which I guess to be the main subject. That's a damn cute frog.

This is a terrific still life but struggles with the theme a little I think

Awww, what a sweet concept for celebration (and I hope indeed she said yes). The lighting is a bit harsh to me, and makes the glasses almost seem plastic. Also, since the glasses are vertical objects I wonder how this would have looked if you shot it as a vertical (portrait) photo instead - thereby not cutting off the glasses?

The lighting looks a bit too harsh.

Did she? Looks like New Year's desperation...

the pink frame with the same collor as in the glasses make the picture bleed out and the spirit with it. It would have bin better to choose lighting better and cancel the flass. The flare is a killer.

such a sweet idea! the colors seem to be almost neon, perhaps because of the lighting? it makes for a harsh effect on a sweet and hopeful picture.

lighting is too harsh here, try diffusing the light next time...

this photo needs more light overall and less glare marks on the glass.

Good idea and composition, but I would have liked to have seen all of the glass on the right in the picture and all of the ring. The ring and the frog look cut off.

for me the main ocus(going by your title) is the ring. the glasses are a major distraction. i think i would have tried to photograph maybe the frog with the ring around the "i love you" hearts and the same title. I love how your colors really pop so great job there..good luck :o)~~Cher~~

Lighting is a bit harsh on this. If you have an external flash, I'd bounce it off the ceiling. If you are using a point-n-shoot I'd set the camera on a tripod with a long exposure or increase the ambient lighting in the room. That should take care of the blown highlights on the glasses as well as give a softer look to the scene. Also, I feel attention should be drawn to the frog and the ring, but the glasses are a bit overpowering. Some shallow depth of field (using a larger aperture to blur the background) could help here as well. Good subject / cause for celebration though.
