Photo gets a 5, but I'm bumping it up to a 10 for Patriotism! |

Had all of the ROTC students been looking directly into the camera instead of off to the sides, I would have scored this better. Nice idea for the challenge. I hope your team won :-) |

ROTC? - doesn't mean anything to me. The girls look happy, but I can't say that about the boys. I like the crop, excellent choice. |

I think this is a good subject, but might benefit from a more interesting/less rigid composition. Framing the image such that the stripes create diagonals (rather than straight forward lines as they are here) in the image would strengthen it in this way imho. Seems to be a little bit of motion blur (on the girl at the right) as well - faster shutter speed should clear that up. Nice candid capture. |

i really like the pride and delight you see in the cadets' faces. the cropping choice works well for the image you selected. i wish that those boys would have looked as happy as those charming girls... |

Getting a nice candid capture with many people is easier said than done. You did a good job here. Lighting is OK. No exceptionally over or under exposed areas. Meets challenge well. |

A little soft for my tastes plus some of the football players heads are lined up with the ROTC kids heads givihg a blending together look (especially the 2nd girl and 3rd girl from the left....looks like the players head is their hair poofing up) whereas if you would have stepped to the right or left a step or two this could have been avoided. |
