Dressing dogs or babies up in costumes is cruel and also very overdone. (heard of Anne Geddes?)
You do very nice studio work, and obviously have learned the craft very well, so I respect your talent. I just do not like this type of content. |

Bumping this up. On second viewing I'm starting to appreciate the trouble you must have gone to to pull this off! |

this one makes me smile :D I think it would be more like freedom if the ball on his leg was next to him |

Funny animal photo. The white is a bit too stark for my tastes, but I like your composition - and that must be one patient dog to be put through that. :-) |

Pretty photo but a little too contrived in my mind. |

Is this the dog from the greeting card challenge? = ) I'm a fan of Dachshounds (even though I can't spell them..) Another nice shot, though a little high in contrast imho. |

Aww, so cute. I would love to do this to my dog, but I don't think he'd put up with it! |

Lol! Who would put a cute fellow like that in prison, I bet he got out early because of the puppy dog look in his eyes. Nicely lit even though there are a couple of blown highlights. 7 from me. |

Know the feeling, i just spent 3 months in jail in japan because of a letter that wasnt even mine.. penalties of living in shared accomodation... this is truely a reason to celebrate and my top pick for the challenge simply because i can relate to it and the shot is at least clean sharp and well executed.. congrats my very RARE 10 goes to you |

Nice photo, cute dog. How do you get the background so white while not overexposing the dog? |

Techniqewise everything is spot on perfect: the lighting is excellent, the model is cooperative, and colors are good. The problem, I think, is the composition. Oh it is a cute and fun shot no question, but I think the photo fails to show us the concept of freedom without relying on the title to tell us. You have the imagery of prision in the shot - normally this imagery conjures up negative thoughts and ideas (prision is a terrible place to be, it's cramped, horrible nasty people go there, etc, etc. ). You needed one more thing to bridge the gap and introduce the happy and playful concept of freedom - that could have either been from having the shackle around the ball and chain snapped and the dog rushing happily to some object that we would recognize as giving happiness - i.e. a doggie treat, a bowl of favorite food or chewie toy. Those "prision bars" could have also been used to stage a "jail break" to freedom by having the dog seemingly slip through the bars in a side shot with the little pooch's eyes on a nice big happy chewie toy to greet him/her on the opposite side. I hope I am explaining myself clearly when I say that this needed a little extra "omph" to bring the idea of "freedom" into the image such that the image would better represent something to celebrate. |

Okay, you need to quit abusing this poor dog all in the name of a ribbon, ROFLMAO!!! Nice job! A 10 for the dog and 1 for you for being so mean and I'll settle for a 10 because of the thought and work that went into this. You know the dog is going to end up a chunky monkey if you keep bribing it, LOL !:) |

ROFL. Great doggie shot. What a cutie - and good sport. The props are a tad too much (the styrofoam with the black sticks shoved in), but the imagination and cute factor is definitely there!! |
