Excellent theme. I like the composition here. Might look much better with a blue sky instead of grey. |

Personally I do not consider magazines to be in a horizontal shape... thats just me though. Not sure how this relates to AARP, but then again I don't read the magazine. This is an interesting shot... is it some kind of a battle ship or something and are those canons? Very interesting. This might have looked cool in black and white too.

Hmmm... Not getting the connection between the retired community and weapons..... I must be missing something. |

Dont like the composition, want to see more of the boat. Tree and such in the background detract from the ambiance of the ship. |

A decent shot. Tough to crop for a magazine though. |

Not sure what this has to do with retired people. Maybe I'm too dense. |

Geez, it took me a while to get the connection between retired people and that this ship is mothballed (retired, too). Very good photo, too bad about the clouds, esp. the washed out section. The ship is nice. Good color. The portrait issue might bump your score down (not here!). I'll go an 8. Rob the Swash |

Nice photo. I really like it, but it's not cropped as a magazine cover shot so I have to take a few points off for that. |

the trees on the right give-away that this ship is not on water. Try getting lower and shoot upwards to get that \"on the sea\" feeling which I felt will definately help make this photo more interesting. Very nice DOF and angle for the canons 7 |
