Good protrait, captured pride of accomplisment really. I can almost smell the apples and feel the touch of crispness in the air. A shame the apple covered the corner of his eye, but then I guess it is the apple of his eye. Solid 9

Really like this photo a great deal. Have voted it with a 9, but think there are some things which might have eliicited a 10 (from me, anyway). Am thinking that it would look better with some crop off the bottom and a tad less crop off the top so that the boy's head sits just a bit lower down in the frame. Love the look in the little chap's eyes and his stance as he holds up the apple. Nice. Best of luck in the challenge.

Would have been better if apple wasn't coving part of his face

what a cutie, I had this same exact idea, I knew my little one wouldn't cooperate though and it's been raining forever - I'm so glad to see someone else did this :)

Nice job! One of a very few kid pictures in the bunch that really shows what he is proud of. You get a real sense of pride from the expression on his face and his stance.

He looks genuinely pleased. I think this is really cute. Good DOF. I'd give more negative space around him - the crop seems a tad tight.
