This is my niece, Lindley, she is 7 years old. I went to a family dinner this afternoon and took this picture of her on our tire swing. For me, celebration is shown perfectly through children. After all...what more does a child want to do besides celebrate?

Nice family snapshot but not strong enough to convey celebration

The lighting on her face is a bit too harsh for my tastes, but I like how you captured her smile and the color of her shirt against the water.

I think it would be better when the girl is totally on the photo, you could crop the top.

a sharper focus on the face would make this into a winner.

The liight on the girls face seriously hurts the image - too blown out on the left so the smill is compromised in the image

i don't know if you are using a blur effect or if the model is a bit out of focus, but the blur detracts from the photo just a bit, in my eye. the lighting is nice on her, and i love the light you captured in her eyes. charming smile, too. i also notice that as i look at this image, i'm self-cropping it to be a tighter shot of the model (less on top & rt side). a nice soft image.

Well I'm sure she had a great time my only proably is the picture looks like a snapshot and it's slightly out of focus. Very cute girl though. Good luck.

very sweet- what a cutie :0) the sun is a liitle harsh and the focus seems spot on the rope but not her, where you really want it. the fun in her eyes says it all tho & I am giving you a 7 for the great capture :0)

There is a focus issue here. Very bright on her rt side. If thje white balance was inline and it was more into focus I then perhaps would have cropped some of the top of the image.

I think you should have tried a different angle or time of day so the lighing on her face would be more een.

The focus is a little soft and the sun has blown out some details of her face. I wouldn't have cropped out her hand. Cute Kid!! Good choice for the theme.
