the emotion is well suggested, but the reflection of the "lonely" toothbrush is distracting

Great imagination. I like the B & W. How did you leave the touch of green? Did you remove some of the rbg channels?

Personification not powerful enough. Once you do away with the title, either the personification is totally lost or there are infinite interpretation possiblities.

Heh, I like it. This is one of the few that truly captures the challenge objective. I'm not sure what the selective desat adds. To me, the two snuggling brushes are the subject not the lonely one. Your title could go either way however. (does the loenly brush need the intimacy, or does the gray one snuggle up to the black because it needs intimacy?) 7
