 Despair: to lose all hope.

That is what this photo means to me and I hope everyone gets it. However, I'm fully prepared to get the "this doesn't match the challenge well enough" comments. It is a last minuet entry, and I'm pleased with it.

I adjusted the levels, brightens/contrast, curves, Hue/desat, and save for web.

wow this picture's interesting! it looks like it belongs in a emo music video or something. i lilke the red color and the way it sort of caringly stands out. good job.

This is an interesting colour study, but I don't get a feeling of personification from the picture.

The good: excellent idea for personification. The selective desat is nice.
To work on: Is enough in focus? Also I would not have guessed what you were going for without the title. Once I read it, I can see it, but not before.

I'm not really understanding this one. Are these grapes or berries? Have they gone to waste, is that the despair? There is a definate "mood" about this shot though.

This definitely gives off that feeling of despair. I like the lighting on sme areas of the berries while leaving other parts in shadow. The background is good being left grey, however it needs to be much blurrier - all the twigs are very distracting and take away from the main subject. A very good shot overall

Sorry but I really don't see "it". The main subject looks a bit out of focus too.
