 Only have a 28mm (35mm efl) wide lens... this is as wide as it gets, I thought the angle of the mailboxes exaggerated the wide angle... I know it would be a better photo without the boat and mobil home, but such is life... the view is sometimes filled with ugly man made things... the one open mailbox is the inspiration for the title... I know my brain is in the twilight zone at times, sorry if it does not fit the mold.

Hm, a bit hard to see. Maybe if you had moved closer to the boxes the open one would have popped out better. 4.

A nice wide angle, but for me, your subject matter doesn't hold my interest as well as other entries in the challenge. I find the elements behind the mailboxes a bit distracting.

Good idea, however maybe it would have been better to take the picture from the other side to make the open mailbox stand out more. You have to look for it now.
