Hey! I really like the color in this pic.
First off, yes it fits the challenge. It would make a great magazine cover - lots of room for copy.
Technically it's clean. Those reflections are a pain to control. You can always wear black and try having someone hold up some black cloth to block out distractions, but it isn't easy. Sometimes it isn't really even worth the added trouble either. Chrome just IS shiny afterall.
Focus and clarity are good. Exposure/lighting is good.
As for the composition... I like where you chose to place the emblem. I'm not sure it's completely necessary to show that at all for a car magazine unless they're doing a special article on that make.
You probably want to just find the most interesting lines and curves to highlight. Without having a solid background behind the car though, it's hard to frame a shot that only shows the car. This is a nice one . I just don't know if it's the best one as I've never actually tried shooting a car before.
Overall, I think it probably would be used as a cover. It definitely has a target audience. For a stand-alone shot, however, it may be a little bit boring for the average voter.
Heck, who cares about the picture though when you have that car, huh? |

Not bad but it looks like I can see your hands, camera, and camera strap in the reflection on the car. |

Hmmm. Nice hues (red) and detail. Not sure if I agree witht he crop/composition choice. Would have liked to see more of the grill. I like the somewhat abstract attempt, better luck next time... |

I'm salivating. What a beautiful car! I love Alfa-Romeo's (have a dog originally named after the car (Romeo) full name of the car, but now we have Juliet too ;-) ) This picture is nice, but the front part is kind of distracting... it's hard not to get reflections in the car... but some of the reflections are just too bothersome. Nice cropping though! I love to do cars! See my triptych . Good luck! |

would have been a bit better if you had more of the car you were interested in. |

Oddly enough, I drive a red alpha - but this is a true classic. Mine's only an '85 Spider Veloce. Great shot! |
